Eixo temático: Educação em Saúde Única: processos de ensino e aprendizagem
Abstract
Children's literature connects children with the world, going through their meanings and affective relationships. With importance in the training of readers, it can be used as an instrument that unites the playful and the scientific. The concept of one health works the intrinsic relationship that exists between human health, other animals and the environment, as well as work in an integrated and transdisciplinary way. The book "When I take care of the planet, I take care of myself" addresses the theme of one health, dialoguing with children, with the objective of democratizing knowledge and introducing, from childhood, a different way of perceiving the world. This article aims to present the book published for free download and describe the process of writing and building this book, as well as approaching how we intend to give visibility to the book, especially through shared readings, so that it provokes, to some to some extent, questioning and construction of knowledge about one health. The book was submitted, accepted and published by UFCSPA Company in 2021.
